FAQ

u

Where do the production raw materials come from?

ThePelletCompany is produced with virgin pine wood from Russian and European forests.

u

How does the pellet take the form of a cylinder without chemical binders?

Lignin, an organic substance present in all plant cells, acts as a natural binder and allows small cylinders to maintain an unaltered shape.

u

How do you recognize a quality pellet?

A good quality pellet can be recognized by a simple experiment: immersed in water, if it sinks it is of good quality, if it remains afloat it is of poor quality. It also does not contain chemicals of any kind and during the combustion it releases the typical wood fragrance in the air.A quality pellet guarantees greater efficiency because it produces few residual ash with consequent less maintenance of the heating system and greater heat output. Choosing the best pellet means saving on energy costs and maintenance of stoves and boilers.

u

Why pellet is an ecological fuel?

The pellet is an eco-sustainable resource because it is produced with wood processing waste, therefore it does not require the demolition of new trees and solves the problem of sawmill waste disposal, thus completing a virtuous cycle.

u

Is there a difference between a certified and non-certified pellet?

The difference is substantial. The DIN Plus and EN Plus certified pellets guarantee a high quality standard that ensures longer life and better operation of the stoves and boilers compared to a non-certified pellet, certainly cheaper but with a lower caloric yield.

u

How to dispose of the residual ashes?

The residual ash from the combustion of the ThePelletCompany stove is an excellent fertilizer for our plants.
